Want to ride the latest and fastest mountain bikes? You better come along to our Trek Bikes demo weekend then! We'll have brand new 2020 models available to try (full list below) including the new Top Fuel (probably the perfect bike for events like the Glentress7) and the latest incarnation of the do-it-all ride-anything Fuel EX. Plus, discover the power of electric with this season's Powerfly LT. With our own staff and Trek experts on hand, this is the perfect event to see how the newest technology and design can improve your riding.

The morning session will run from 9am to 12pm and is a first come, first served basis. During this session, riders can take the bikes out on a pre-marked demo route which features singletrack climbing and descents to fully test the bike's capabilities. A lap of the test route will take approximately 45 minutes. Please bring your own helmet and suitable riding kit for the weather conditions. If you bring your own pedals (flat or clipless) we can fit these to the test bike for your ride. You will be set up on the test bike by a member of Alpine Bikes or Trek Bikes staff with the saddle height and suspension set accordingly.

The afternoon session will run from 2pm-5pm and takes the form of a guided led by our qualified leaders. Places on this rider are strictly limited so please book your place well in advance. Please bring your own helmet and suitable riding kit for the weather conditions. If you bring your own pedals (flat or clipless) we can fit these to the test bike for your ride. You will be set up on the test bike by a member of Alpine Bikes or Trek Bikes staff with the saddle height and suspension set accordingly. The ride will be approximately 2-2.5 hours long on a selection of red and blue graded trails. There is a £15* registration for this ride, with all profits being donated to the Tweed Valley Trails Association. All riders attending the demo weekend must bring a form of photographic ID and a credit/debit card in the same name. Customers will have to sign up to our T and C's and will be provided with a wrist band which must be worn at all times during the event. ID's will be returned when the wrist bands are given back.
