The AiR is Boardman Elite's award winning Aero Bike. Chris Boardman pushed hard for marginal aerodynamic gains in his career, so its no surprise to see this legacy continue in the Boardman Brand. The frame has undergone significant R&D, using CFD and direct Wind Tunnel Testing. More importantly, it is the bike of choice for Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee, used for multiple World Championships, Olympic Medals and will be seen at this years Olympic Games.
The AiR 9.0 starts the range off with an Ultegra Groupset, but as with all the AiR Frames it utilises a top spec, T1000/T800 UD Monocoque Frame, so you get the same race performance frame used by the Brownlee Brothers on all of the AiR range.
