Hope Race Evo X2 Front Brake

For 2012 Hope Race Evo X2 Disc Brake has seen a few changes. The lever pivot has been slightly shortened which translates to a 15% increase in power. With this super lightweight design - CNC machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aircraft spec aluminium alloy, giving a smooth, progressive feel and power. The split clamp allows for quick adjustment and the lightweight machined alloy lever features a textured grip area. Lever reach is adjustable via allen key and the master cylinder reservoir is integrated to allow easy bleeding. This disc brake has a mix of 10 titanium and 2 aluminium bolts which help to keep the weight below the 275g mark. This neat, slimline calliper optimises the very latest COSMOS Works FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software to reduce unnecessary weight, improve aesthetics and create a high performance partnership with the superlight Race Evo Lever. The calliper is machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aircraft spec aluminium alloy and an increased piston diameter, generating more usable braking force on the rotor. This disc brake has a drip free bleed nipple and wide angle orientation of the fluid inlet connector have also been added, allowing for neater hose routing and cleaner servicing. The Race X2 pads are backed with an alloy plate for lighter weight.
