Slim-fitting for a streamlined effect as you embark on long days out on the bike, the Women’s Windveil Vest from the Rab Cinder range is there to keep your core warm even in the cold, whether you wear it as a mid-layer or an outer layer on milder days. With specifically body mapped fabrics, Pertex® Quantum Air helps to regulate your body temperature, both in terms of heat and sweat and the Motiv™ Aero jersey panels have been treated with an odour control treatment to keep you feeling fresh no matter how long you’ve been riding for.
A soft mesh-lined stand-up collar shields your neck from cool winds and semi-elasticated armholes provide comfort and don’t pinch or chafe. It’s engineered to be worn on long days out on the bike, with its dropped rear hem with silicone grip to help keep your jacket in place as you ride, and the single sided hem adjustment that can be done with one hand. The YKK® zippered lumbar storage pocket is ideal for keeping your necessities close by, and also helpfully doubles as a stuff-sack so you can stash the jacket away in a pack for the next time it’s needed.

PFC-Free DWR
Fluorinated DWR finishes make clothing waterproof by repelling water droplets. ‘PFCs’ is the broad term for all fluorocarbon chemicals, of which PFOS and PFOA are sub-groups. Different chemicals in this family have a varying number of carbon atoms, so C6 has six carbon atoms and C8 has eight. While the outdoor industry has moved away from C8 (or 'long chain') PFCs, C6 (short chain) PFCs are currently unbeatable in their waterproofing performance. They're considered less harmful to the environment than C8, but they have not been proven to be safe. PFCs are known as forever chemicals; once created they will never break down and are harmful to people and the planet. To read more about the chemistry related to PFCs, head here.
PFC-Free DWR uses alternative, biodegradable technologies that repels water from the surface of a fabric - such as Fjallraven's Greenland Wax. PFC-Free DWR coatings are water resistant enough for most daily activities, so if you don’t need a highly technical waterproof, consider a PFC-Free garment instead.

How to Measure
Chest: measure around the fullest part of the chest with your arms down. Usually just under the pits.
Waist: measure around the narrowest part of the waist. Your waist is at the small of your back or where your body bends if you lean to the side.
Arm length: measure from the side of your neck to wrist fold, over the top of your arm.
Hips: measure around the widest part of your hip area.
Fit Descriptions
Slim: a streamlined silhouette. Cut trim following the contours of the body. Expertly placed articulation of seams and the use of stretch fabric ensure maximum freedom of movement in these close-fitting terms.
Regular: neither slim nor loose. Regular fit items are the perfect balance of form fit and ease of movement.
Relaxed: a more generous fit. Cut loosely through the body allowing for ease of movement and additional layering.
Expedition: designed specifically to accommodate the layering system and equipment required for high altitude and polar expeditions.
