With an added layer of Thermogreen® insulation underneath the shell, these pants will keep you warm and dry, whatever the send. For added security, there is a webbing loop that can be used to connect to any Patagonia® Snow jacket, ensuring that all layers of your adventure gear operate seamlessly together.

  • B-Corp Certified Brand

This brand is a B-Corp Certified Brand. B Lab is a non-profit network that ensures the global economy benefits all people, communities, and the planet. If a brand is a B-Corp Certified brand, their entire social and environmental impact has been measured and marked high enough to consider them a leader in the global movement for an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy. B Lab’s standards help companies to improve their social and environmental impact.

  • Bluesign®

A bluesign® approved product consists of at least 90% bluesign® approved textiles and/or 30% bluesign approved accessories. • Fair Trade Certified

This item is Fair Trade certified. Fair Trade directly improve the lives of the people who make the product you buy. Members of Fair Trade, i.e. the people who grow the coffee beans or make the product, are part of a co-operative. Fair Trade are strict on their compliance and certification, so you can be safe in the knowledge that a Fair Trade product is from a sustainable, properly paid supply chain.

  • PFC-Free DWR

Fluorinated DWR finishes make clothing waterproof by repelling water droplets. ‘PFCs’ is the broad term for all fluorocarbon chemicals, of which PFOS and PFOA are sub-groups. Different chemicals in this family have a varying number of carbon atoms, so C6 has six carbon atoms and C8 has eight. While the outdoor industry has moved away from C8 (or 'long chain') PFCs, C6 (short chain) PFCs are currently unbeatable in their waterproofing performance. They're considered less harmful to the environment than C8, but they have not been proven to be safe. PFCs are known as forever chemicals; once created they will never break down and are harmful to people and the planet. To read more about the chemistry related to PFCs, head here.

PFC-Free DWR uses alternative, biodegradable technologies that repels water from the surface of a fabric - such as Fjallraven's Greenland Wax. PFC-Free DWR coatings are water resistant enough for most daily activities, so if you don’t need a highly technical waterproof, consider a PFC-Free garment instead.

  • Recycled Fabrics

By recycling fabrics, we are not only stopping extra waste heading to landfill but also reducing the need for virgin fabrics to be created. Recycled fabrics can be anything from recycled polyester to recycled cotton and where recycled cotton is used, it's often offcuts from factory floors that would otherwise end up in landfill.

  • Fair Labor Association

This brand partners with the Fair Labor Association (FLA). The FLA has a broader remit and does not just focus on the apparel industry. They aim to protect workers rights around the world and collaborate with universities, civil society organisations and companies to create sustainable working conditions. FLA have their own Code of Conduct based off the UN’s International Labour Organisation’s (ILO) standards. Affiliated companies must implement this Code of Conduct across their supply chain.

Top Tips

Chest is usually the best size predictor for tops and jackets. However, if your hip measurement is larger, consider buying the size indicated for your hips. Likewise, for legwear, hips are usually the best size predictor, but if your waist measurement is larger, consider buying the size indicated by your waist.

How to Measure

Chest: measure around your chest, just under the armpit.

Arm Length: with the elbow bent, measure from the centre (back) of the neck to the elbow and down to the wrist.

Waist: measure around the waist at the smallest circumference.

Hips: stand, feet together, and measure around the largest circumference at hips.

Fit Guide

Although each Patagonia product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, to describe their fits, they use four categories:

Formfitting: conforms to the body’s contours.

Slim Fit: closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.

Regular Fit: neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers.

Relaxed Fit: drapes loosely on the body.
