Product Description

Recycled fabrics, PFC-free DWR but still waterproof to 20,000mm HH, the Downpour Eco is one of the best waterproofs an environmentally conscious shopper could buy. It is Rab's first ever mono-polymer waterproof jacket. It uses a polyester outer and membrane, which means that, in addition to being 100% recycled, it also has the future potential to be fully recycled at the end of its life.

This jacket is more than eco - it has all the features you expect of a comfortable general use waterproof - velcro cuffs, adjustable hem, adjustable hood and handwarmer pockets. It's highly windproof but not insulated, so pair it with a fleece to keep warm on cooler days. The Downpour Eco packs down well to fit into a backpack for light hill walking.

How to Measure

Chest: measure around the fullest part of the chest with your arms down. Usually just under the pits.

Waist: measure around the narrowest part of the waist. Your waist is at the small of your back or where your body bends if you lean to the side.

Arm length: measure from the side of your neck to wrist fold, over the top of your arm.

Fit Descriptions

Slim: a streamlined silhouette. Cut trim following the contours of the body. Expertly placed articulation of seams and the use of stretch fabric ensure maximum freedom of movement in these close-fitting terms.

Regular: neither slim nor loose. Regular fit items are the perfect balance of form fit and ease of movement.

Relaxed: a more generous fit. Cut loosely through the body allowing for ease of movement and additional layering.

Expedition: designed specifically to accommodate the layering system and equipment required for high altitude and polar expeditions.
