The new T-130 is all about fun. 27.5" wheels with chunky rubber, a mid-travel chassis and dialled geometry make the T-130 perfect for throwing around the trails.

Whyte have led the charge on progressive geometry for several years, and the short travel T-130 is no exception. The slack head angle with short offset fork allow you to get weight over the front wheel for traction, yet remain super stable at high speed. The benchmark Rockshox Pike fork is stiff and strong which combines with the geometry allowing you to plough through rough terrain, yet turn swiftly and with confidence when you need to.

With 130mm of suspension at the back, and 140 out front, there is just enough bounce to keep you planted on the trail without being in-efficient on the climbs. The carbon frame keeps weigth low and the 75° seat angle puts you in a good position to maximise your energy when ascending. Internal cable routing and a neat hidden seat clampmake this one of the smartest frames in our range. Running 27.5" wheels keeps the bike playful allowing you to hop of jumps and quickly change direction, adding fun to every trail.

The build kit is as you'd expect for a bike with this much potential. Rockshox suspension is smooth, tuneable and reliable. Wide 30mm WTB rims with 2.6" Maxxis tyres provide a large contact area with the trail for masses of traction and cushioning. A SRAM NX Eagle groupset takes care of shifting with a wide gear range and reliable operation. Matching SRAM Guide T brakes keep your speed in check. Finally, a solid finsihing kit consisting of Whyte's own short stem and wide bar is paired with a KS dropper seatpost with 150mm travel.

As an all round trail bike, the T-130 excels. It's equally good at all day epics or tearing up short laps on steep terrain. All in, it's one of the best handling trail bikes in our range, and a sure-fire hit for regular trail riders.
