Trek's Powerfly 5 is a highly capable and great value electric mountain bike. It pairs a high-end Bosch e-MTB drive system with durable mountain bike components built to stand up to the trail. Plus, it features our user-friendly Removable Integrated Battery (RIB) system that fully encases the battery in the frame, yet doesn't require tools for removal. This bike is versatile, capable and ready for adventure.
For brakes, you are spoilt with Shimano's 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes (a mechanic's favourite for their ease of service and functionality). These brakes are sharp, giving you more control, especially in wet weather conditions.
Using the now very popular x1 drivetrain system, there is no front derailleur, meaning you have fewer components to service, no chance of cross-chaining and it will be easier to clean (or so they say!). 1x systems are popular for good reason!
The Powerfly 5 is kitted out with RockShox's Recon Silver RL fork. With an air spring, motion control damper and lockout, you have the ability to easily alter the fork setup to your riding style.
