The 529 series is Whyte's mid range 29er with great value for money that'll help you hone your techniques on the trails.

You could easily jump into buying this bike as an entry level bike as you get great componentry that'll last plus well balanced, confidence inducing geometry that won't be a shock to a newbie.

The V3 version of the 529 (Whyte call their new year models V1, V2 etc rather than putting a year in) upgrades to a dropper post and the new Deore 1 x 11 drivetrain with a huge 11-51t cassette. It also comes fitted with a RockShox Recon B Spec fork which gives more mud clearance and allows up to a 2.8" tyre to be fitted. It comes fitted with Maxxiss Forekaster tyres which are an aggressive cross-country tyre perfect for the wet weather conditions we're likely to get all year round in the UK. The wide middle knobs provide excellent braking capability and paired with the 180mm Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, you'll never have to worry about stopping when you need to.
