At only 14.9kg, it weighs almost 40% less than standard e-bikes. This means it's easy to hang on a wall hook, carry up & down stairs, or lift onto a train. The SL motor uses advanced technology to tailor the mount of electrical assistance depending on the effort you put in, so you can ride gently up to junctions without having an unexpected burst of speed at the wrong moment. These innovations make the Vado a game-changer in transportation.

The Vado comes as standard with a 320WH battery, which effectively doubles your effort. Depending on usage and conditions, this equates to around 80 miles distance and will assist your pedalling up to 15.5mph, allowing you to travel efficiently wherever you may roam. The accompanying display unit allows you to switch levels of assistance depending on the terrain or your needs, and to turn off completely. Doing this turns the Vado into a normal hybrid bike with no additional drag from the dis-engaged motor. With the motor and battery setup weighing just under 2kg, and situated low in the frame, the Vado retains excellent handling and looks like a normal bike (unlike the vast majority of e-bikes).

In practical terms, the lightweight aluminium frame is sturdy, robust and and fitted with mounts for racks, mudguards and other vital accessories with a convenient step-through frame. The powerful disc brakes keep your speed in check while the reliable 10 speed gearing offers all the range you need for climbing and descending in a super tough package. Grippy, puncture resistant tyres let you roll easily on most surfaces.
