Where better to test out Merrell’s Moab Speed 2s than the Elie Chain Walk, a via ferrata route just an hour away from Edinburgh.
One of only three via ferrata routes around Britain and spanning eight chains across 500m of the Fife coast, the Elie Chain Walk is situated just outside of the village of Elie, providing glorious views and landscapes of jagged coastline. It’s also the perfect opportunity to test run the Moab Speed 2s, trialling them for traction on slippery rock faces and how stable and comfortable they are over uneven surfaces.
