The Salomon Shift Binding does it all, piste charging, powder bashing, couloir edging, all the things you need from a do it all binding. With pins attachments for the uphill which then morphs into an alpine toe piece for the downhill, you get the ease of a pin binding for walking and the security of an alpine binding for charging down again.
The MNC part of the name means 'Multi Norm Compatibility' - or in other words any boot-sole type fits the S/Lab Shift. This model comes in both 90 and 100mm brake widths. You'll need a brake width that is at least as wide as the waist of your ski, but no more than 20mm wider.
