The coils are protected against rusting and hand-wound to give you 360 degrees of traction on ice and snow. When you walk in the Yaktrax Walker or Pro, every step you take places hundreds of biting edges in direct contact with the ice beneath your feet. The outer band conforms to the length and width of your boot or shoe. The high strength horizontal coils provide forward and backward stability. The vertical coil pattern provide side-to-side stability.
The Yaktrax Pro is ideal for the person needing increased durability while working, running or enjoying outdoor activities on ice or packed snow during the winter months. It is equipped with a removable performance strap that was designed for stability.

Yak-Trax
Most of my running shoes are Uk9 but a couple are UK9.5 - what size of Yak-Trax would be best - Medium or Large?

The footprint circumference in the size chart is often more accurate than shoe size alone. If you can measure in a loop around the outside edge of shoe where the Yaktrax would sit on the outside edge of the footwear. For lower-volume footwear you may find the smaller size more appropriate.
What shoe size is a Medium
Ordering crampons online. I am a size 4 and need to know if I should order a size M.

Our size guide under "Key Features" states a size Small would be suitable for a UK Size 4.

Perfect for dog walking in slippery conditions
These Yaktrax make dog walking in the depths of winter actually possible without the risk of breaking something. Not much to spend for something you can use heavily for a few months every year.

Easy to fit to trainers, walking boots and work boots
Get a grip - as easy as ABC. Lightweight, easily stowed.
1st of all on-line shopping at Tiso's is very straightforward. The Yaktrax came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. They're easily fitted and give great grip where crampons would be overkill.
Best I`ve tried
On 4th pair. The Pros` are worth extra. Get a winter out of them. Used on old trainers for a daily walking commute on pavements and lanes of about 3 miles. Take a fair hammering on ice free sections
Speed of delivery and Product
Excellent speed on delivery. Excellent Yaktrax which I have used once and which gave me great stability on ice. I looked at Amazon prime(for speed) but unreliable messy website .
Great on ice and snow
Walking with confidence on ice and snow easy to wear, feel light on boots.My second pair after 10 years (only because I lost the first pair!) so can vouch for quality and long wear.

Get a grip!
These Yaktrax were recommended by a sporty friend but are just as useful for the dog walking. Great grip on both ice and snow and in the tricky areas in between.
Not impressed by these. Springs have broken and they ride up
After 5 weeks, a number of the springs have broken and the whole grip rides up at the front so that it is hardly effective. They just don’t stay in place. Terrible value for money.
