Whether you're new to heart rate training or you're switching brands, the TICKR is a reliable, well considered heart rate monitor. It's one of the smallest, lowest profile HRMs on the market.

Gone are the days of "is it even working?" with the top LED display indicator lights showing connection status via Bluetooth and / or ANT+: searching for a connections (blue slow blinking light), connecting (blue fast blinking light), and reading heart rate (red blinking at current beats per minute).

The TICKR also connects to multiple devices either through ANT+ or Bluetooth. What's the difference, I hear you ask. One big difference is one ANT+ device can connect to multiple ANT+ receivers, whilst Bluetooth connects to one thing at one time only. However, the TICKR has Bluetooth channels allowing you to connect your heart rate monitor to multiple devices no matter the connection type. There's a heap of pros and cons to either of these connections and which you use comes down to personal choice, but at least with the TICKR, you'll not be stuck for connection options!
