Designed to be the perfect one man tent all year round, the Hilleberg Akto is a four season one man tent that can withstand all the elements thanks to the durable and reliable Kerlon Ripstop fabric. It's difficult to beat the combination of space and durability for such a low weight and packed size.
If you want lightweight and easy to transport then this is the perfect option, weighing just 1.7kg and folding down small enough to fit in the side pocket of most packs, the Hilleberg Akto is a convenient yet reliable option for solo adventurers. The central pole means that there is maximum headroom in the middle of this tent, giving you plenty of space for sitting up, organising you gear, preparing food and getting dressed in comfort.
A really useful feature of Hilleberg tents is that you pitch flysheet first ... so no more wet inner tents! You can also keep the flyheet & inner tent linked and pitch both of them quickly in one go. If you're packing-up in the pouring rain then simply unclip the inner, stash it safely in your rucksack and get into your waterproofs ... ready to quickly take down the fly, pegs & pole. When you arrive at your next night's camp ... do the same thing in reverse and, even if it's (still) raining, you'll have a completely dry inner as you settle in to your tent for the evening!
