The Garmont Pinnacle GTX is the perfect general use mountaineering boot, ideal for mountain walking and backpacking.
The Pinnacle GTX boots are lightweight and durable. You will find a 2.8mm one piece Perwanger® suede leather upper with a dual density PU injected midsole and Vibram® Titus outsole. These boots are stiff enough for a semi-automatic crampon (B2/C2) and comfortable enough to walk long distances with a heavy pack. The Pinnacle GTX is ideal for UK mountain walking as well as being suitable for summer alpine conditions.

Used the boot raw first time - usually not a good idea. Long peaty Cairngorm day (for me) but very comfy despite my weird foot shape which Tiso guy had suggested wd be accommodated by this boot - he was not wrong! Plenty forefoot space - brill. Works well (for me ) in a coolish summer which is why I bought these boots - in winter I use NZ wellies (braw)! Boots yet to be tested in the wet April snowpack(!!) in which previous G-tex boots left me less than cosy but ahm no' bothered 'cos ah've got ma NZ wellies which are very foot-friendly! Ah bet they're good then though! Confidence.
