The new, updated Vertex Alpine GORE-TEX Shoe from Arc'teryx offers a new outlook on the known approach shoe style. These shoes now boast a PFCec-Free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment. These approach shoes are lightweight and breathable while still providing stability and support for longer days on the trail. Designed with Precision, this shoe boasts a performance-inducing, snug fit. The GORE-TEX liner provides waterproof and breathable performance, whilst the Vibram XS Flash 2 outsole sticks to the terrain with the efficiency of a trail-running shoe. The toe cap creates protection and resistance to abrasions whilst the EVA/Polyolefin blended midsole features a higher abrasion component in the forefoot for scrambling.
