Product Description

The women's Luhkka Cape from Fjallraven is inspired by the Sami's versatile, smart knee-length cape. Can be worn on its own during the autumn and spring, and during the winter months as a reinforcement garment over normal winter clothing - just as the Sami have always worn it. When worn over normal shell garments it offers flexible protection against the cold and bitter winds, and any snow can be quickly shaken off before going indoors. A thin synthetic lining has been added to the strong, wind and water resistant G-1000 for extra warmth.

  • Fixed adjustable hood with detachable synthetic fur edging, and a reflective band at the back.
  • Half zipper at the front with a G-1000 gusset in the opening, and soft fleece on the inside.
  • Breast pocket positioned immediately beside the opening.
  • Kangaroo pouch below breast pocket.
  • Push buttons at the wrists hold the cape in place when on the move.
  • Natural leather tone zipper pulls.
  • Outer material: G-1000® Original: 65% polyester, 35% cotton
  • Lining: 100% polyamide
  • Filling: 100% polyester

How to Measure:

Bust / Chest: measure straight under your arms around your body at the fullest part of your chest.
Arm length: bend the elbow slightly, then measure from the centre back of the neck, over the shoulder to the elbow and down to the wrist.
Waist: measure around your waist at the narrowest part.
Seat: standing with your feet hip-width apart, measure around your hips at the widest part.


Fit Guide:

Next to skin fit: cut snug to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency whilst providing great freedom of movement.
Slim fit: shaped close to the body using both stretch and non-stretch fabrics to give freedom to move comfortably even with long strides.
Regular fit: designed to be extra versatile - not closely fitted so they are ideal for cross-seasonal use and multi-layering. They are contoured with room for extra movement.
Relaxed fit/comfort fit: cut for a loose fit on the body to provide breathability in warm conditions and overall freedom of movement. This fit easily sits over thicker base layers or a pair of trousers when it's even colder out.
