A classic Rab jacket with a twist - the Cirrus Flex 2.0 Hoody offers reliable insulation with the addition of Thermic™ stretch fleece side panels for improved mobility and breathability. Water-resistant PrimaLoft® insulation provides reliable warmth even in wet conditions, and you can easily pack it away into the pocket and tie it to your harness with the attachment loop. Highly versatile, this jacket will function both as a midlayer in chilly conditions and as an outer layer in warmer conditions - and is equally as useful on top of the mountain as it is for the daily commute.

How to Measure
Chest: measure around the fullest part of the chest with your arms down. Usually just under the pits.
Waist: measure around the narrowest part of the waist. Your waist is at the small of your back or where your body bends if you lean to the side.
Arm length: measure from the side of your neck to wrist fold, over the top of your arm.
Fit Descriptions
Slim: a streamlined silhouette. Cut trim following the contours of the body. Expertly placed articulation of seams and the use of stretch fabric ensure maximum freedom of movement in these close-fitting terms.
Regular: neither slim nor loose. Regular fit items are the perfect balance of form fit and ease of movement.
Relaxed: a more generous fit. Cut loosely through the body allowing for ease of movement and additional layering.
Expedition: designed specifically to accommodate the layering system and equipment required for high altitude and polar expeditions.

Waterproof?
How waterproof or water resistant is this jacket? For example, I'm guessing I could walk about town in the rain and not get wet but could I walk up a hill during a heavy downpour and remain dry?

This jacket is water resistant only. The face fabric is treated with a hydrophobic treatment to help shed water. This type of insulation works to keep you warm even if it is wet and will dry out quickly. It will work perfectly if you get caught out in a short shower. If you know it is going to rain, it is best to cover with a fully waterproof jacket, particularly out on the hills.
