Using a soft measuring tape, measure:

Waist: measure around the natural waistline.

Hips: measure around the fullest part of the hip.

Inseam: measure from the crotch (top of the inner thigh) to where your trouser is normally worn on the shoe.

Suitability for running

Are these suitable to take as essential kit for trail running? And are they comfortable for running (i.e not too sweaty/hot)?

We wouldn't recommend the Deluge 2.0 for trail running. When it comes to mandatory kit for running, you would likely benefit from something more lightweight and even more breathable.
