The Rail 9.8 is a long-travel electric mountain bike built for ripping the big stuff. It features the same high-end trail tech and character as analogue Trek bikes, just supercharged. Think of the Rail as a Slash + Remedy hybrid with a built-in shuttle. The Bosch drive unit will have you doing three times your normal lap at the local trail centre and as we all know, more riding = more fun.
A burly carbon frame delivers 150mm of rear suspension travel and holds a 750 Wh battery for long days lapping the trails or adventuring in the mountains. A 160 mm RockShox ZEB Select+ suspension fork and Shimano XT 4-piston brakes inspire confidence when descending. The powerful Bosch Performance Line CX (250 W, 85 Nm) motor and smooth-shifting 1x12 Shimano XT drivetrain will get you to the top of the hill in record time. The electric assist works at speeds up to 20 mph (25 km/h in Europe) and a Purion display shows system information and allows you to cycle through the different assistance modes. Trek finishes the spec off with a dropper post, and Bontrager Line Pro 29er wheels that are already completely tubeless-ready, including sealant.

Please note, electric bikes cannot be shipped to home addresses. They must be collected from an Alpine Bikes or Tiso Outdoor Experience (OE) store. Please select click and collect as the delivery option at the checkout and choose your desired store to collect from. The bike will be sent to the store, built and inspected. A member of staff will then contact you to let you know your bike is ready for collection. Any other items on the order will also got to the store to be collected with the bike.
