Gearing and braking is taken care of by Shimano with an XT 12 speed groupset. This includes a super-wide 10-51 cassette to provide a bail-out climbing gear as well as a top gear suitable for fire road sprints. Shimano's durability, ease of use and clutch design makes this a no-brainer for off-road riding - just crisp shifting all day long. Matching Shimano 4-piston brakes provide braking with bite. With tons of power at your fingertips, reining in all your speed is a breeze.

29" wheels with large volume tyres provide tons of grip with minimal drag, plus rims and tyres are tubeless ready for easy conversion. The chunky 2.5" tyres perfectly balance, grip, weight and rolling resistance, reinforcing the Fuel's status as a do-it-all. It's a great combo for all-round riding.

Bontrager's own finishing kit is a proven quantity with a wide 780mm bar and short stem providing great control in rough terrain, plus a 150mm travel Line dropper post. This is easy to use and reliable, with the handlebar-mounted control making saddle positioning on the fly a breeze.
