A flow-seeking bike primed for grinding climbs and ripping descents

The Cannondale Habit 3 thrives when charging all out over varied terrain and it loves the steep climbs and challenging descents.

The 140mm travel fork and 130mm rear suspension travel give the bike enough travel to take on rock gardens and big drops at speed while leaving enough trail feel and responsiveness to pop off rocks and flick the back end around. 29" wheels front and rear (except in size XS) deliver a smooth and fast ride over rough trails and make the bike more stable at speed. The hydroformed aluminium tubes are carefully crafted using Cannondale's Proportional Response design philosophy to deliver identical ride characteristics through the whole size range, so the smallest frame feels just as plush and planted as the largest.

The Habit 3 comes equipped with a SRAM drivetrain and brakes. The NX Eagle drivetrain comes with a massive 10-52 tooth cassette for a huge gear range that will flatten any climb. The 1x12 configuration means small gear jumps and it has excellent chain retention, thanks to the clutch-equipped rear derailleur. The hydraulic disc brakes offer great modulation and plenty of bite to keep your speed under control on the descent. The low-profile, fast-rolling tyres are great for bike park runs and hardpack trails and they can easily be set up tubeless for added traction and puncture protection. There is, of course, a dropper post for fast transitions at the top and bottom of the trail.
