The 429 brings trail-crushing 29" wheels and capable, progressive geometry to the masses. The handling is super confident and stable at speed, thanks to a slack 66.5-degree head angle but it still climbs like a mountain goat with its steep seat tube angle. Clever tyre choice gets you the grip and comfort of a 2.35" Maxxis Forecaster upfront and a faster rolling 2.25" Maxxis Ardent Race in the rear. You'll always be able to keep your speed in check with reliable hydraulic disc brakes that perform in all conditions. The Rockshox fork has adjustable rebound damping for tuning to the rider's weight and style, along with a lockout for efficient pedalling.
