What is meant by Hydrostatic Head and 3000 Flysheet, 6000 Groundsheet?

Thanks for your question. Hydrostatic Head(HH) is used to describe how waterproof a fabric is. The numbers are how high (in millimeters) a column of water standing on the fabric would be before is begins to penetrate the fabric. The groundsheet tends to have a higher HH than the flysheet as it is subject to higher pressure caused by weight of people or items inside the tent.
