Product Description

Designed specifically as the ultimate shelter for back-country skiers, the MSR Access 2 is more lightweight than a mountaineering tent but offers greater warmth than MSR backpacking tents. 

Delivering the ideal level of protection for camping in less severe winter conditions, for example near the tree-line, the Access 2 boasts Easton® Syclone™ Poles made of cutting-edge composite materials and Xtreme Shield™ waterproof coating to deliver outstanding weatherproofing and long-term durability. With the Access 2, MSR have utilized limited mesh on the tent body in order to ensure greater retention of warmth on chillier nights and have also prioritized weight and pack-size, ensuring it won't bog you down on your adventures. 

Featuring a generously spacious interior, a strong frame to resist overnight snow loading and a quick and easy pitch, the Access 2 is a versatile, practical tent and a great choice for anyone looking for unrivaled access to bowls, ridges and powder fields above.
