The Scarpa R-Evo GTX is designed for maximum comfort on technical hikes or multi-day backpacking trips. They are your go-to workhorse boot for all but the most technical of mountain climbs (and outside of winter they aren't bad at these either).
The R-Evo Gtx is built around a new re-designed softshell sock-fit tongue which not only offers instant comfort for a wide variety of foot shapes, but also gives great security across the middle of the foot. A suede and Gore-tex upper offer durability and protect from any weather.
The comfort flex midsole gives just the right amount of torsional support, and the Vibram Biometric Trek sole unit offers great traction on challenging terrain.

Boots and Crampons
Hi Can you tell me if this boot (Scarpa R-EVO Goretex walking boot) can be used with the G14 bindings found on the Grivel crampon?

This boot is not rated for crampon use and would not be compatible with a rear-lever crampon design found on the G14 Grivel models.
Width
What is the width like? How narrow is the boot?

These boots do not have a width measurement. The R-Evo is made using Scarpa's BAG last which Scarpa has designed, in combination with the sock-fit tongue, to fit a wide range of foot shapes. It is medium volume with good heel retention.

Poor quality linings
Bought a pair of these pre covid, the inside linings have totally disintegrated and the boots are now an unwearable, expensive mistake.
A great boot
A very comfortable boot providing great support in a reasonably lightweight package. I have a problem with one of my feet - an old injury, other than my climbing boots, and these are wonderful
Well supported Boots ,perfect waterproofing and good tread
Ticked all the boxes Gore-tex waterproofing,comfort,Vibram soles and after first outing 14k no problems with fit.
Second outing wet and muddy still no problems with fit and have dry feet .
