Scarpa based this hillwalking boot on their ever-popular and highly technical Mescaltio Mid approach shoe. The Mescalito Trek Planet GORE-TEX walking boot takes some of the characteristics of its approach shoe predecessor and combines them with cutting-edge hiking boot technology to create a boot designed for long mountain hikes on rough terrain. The boot's Autofit ankle-area collar, ensures maximum adaptability and comfort, reducing the impact stress that rests on the Achilles and malleolus area. The Flex Point System lends your ankles complete freedom of movement, even in stiff boots. The Vibram® soles provide a durable and grippy outsole, whilst the GORE-TEX® lining provides waterproofing and breathability, no matter how long and tough the walk.
Furthermore, Scarpa demonstrates consideration for the environment by incorporating bluesign® materials into a durable boot that should serve you for many years of adventure.
