Bought these as they appeared to be robust and waterproof. However after a few months of modest walking the treads had worn away, now they are completely tread free with sole separating from shoe
Owned a pair of Meindl respond GTX shoes for 10 months. They fell apart quite literally. More expensive than the Salomon GTX I used to purchase. Not built to last Meindl. 0 rating from me I'm afraid.
Cloth eyelets broke after 18 months.
I bought these in late Oct 2020 & the soles are disintegrating & coming away from the shoe already. I haven't worn them excessively & my previous Merrells were cheaper and lasted 2 yrs with same use.
Have used this shoe for many years. Last year they updated it and the quality doesn't seem the same. 5 months use and they've fallen apart
Worn for light trail and never for challenging walking 2xper week max. After 9 months the stitching on both toes is coming away and they can't keep my feet dry in wet grass, never mind rain. Poor VFM.
Poor value for money
